It served its function without... Liked: The hotel room was clean but very dated, had issues with lights working. But for the money, the shower was hot, the beds comfortable and the staff friendly.
There was no stay, the motel was that bad and unsafe! Disliked: This is a motel where the door to the room is outside. This was described in our booking as a non smoking room. The door to our room was wide open and all windows were open and it smelt of smoke. We looked in and noticed it was dirty, and they were airing it out from the smoke. Honestly could of dealt with that for one night. The real problem was there was a large man in the parking lot flaring his arms smoking and staring straight at us in the parking lot. With are room that was wide open we had no idea if he was in and out of the room. We felt very unsafe as he would see exactly where we were staying. We went to the front office and the attendant (owner) said they understood and they will credit us $50 for the mess up. We booked through booking.com and the attendant said it would take 4 -5 days for us to see the credit. Of course, I did not see the credit so I called. The attendant said she did her part in a nasty tone but could not offer me any information in regards to credit ie. like date and time she may of put it in. I have called several more times and no one is picking up. Obviously they are not picking up the phone when they see my number which only tells you the unprofessionalism of this motel, staff and owner. The room was one thing. It was cheap so we weren't really expecting much but the staff is another thing. When they blatantly lie to you it is unacceptable. I would stay clear of ever booking or staying at this motel. They really should not be in the hospitality business at all.
Convenient location accessible to mid-valley towns and attractions. It worked well for our needs. Liked: Room and bathroom were clean. Linens and bath amenities were clean and adequate. Beds and pillows were very comfortable; refrigerator could be colder; tv service very good; small but adequate closet and bureau space. Many trees between motel and I-91 make for a quiet stay. Reasonably priced. Disliked: Needs attention to details ---space heater in bathroom removed but empty space left open; baseboard heater in bathroom needs completion-looks shabby; several small ants noticed coming in thru heating pipe floor opening. Grounds need landscaping to improve street appeal. Exterior of buildings needs attention--dented downspouts; walkway made of pieces of old asphalt used as flagstones with weeds growing around. Evidence of work going on so owners seem to be trying. Limited amenities outside of room.
